Giacomo Lampariello is an Italian video editor who fell in love with digital editing after college. Ever since then, he has been hooked. He approached film study at ‘Accademia dell’Immagine’, L’Aquila (Italy) where he shot and edited his first short movies. While studying in L’Aquila he edited the winning documentary (Onna’44) at the 1st Festival for the Historical Documentary of Rome.

In 2007, Giacomo moved to Milan where he started his career at Class CNBC working as in-house editor. A couple of years later he decided to move onto news editing. He ended up working for ANSA, the major Italian news agency. Giacomo became a member of a very important post-production studio in Milan: Xchanges VFX. He edited on-air commercial for: Toyota, Samsung, Nastro Azzurro, Eni and many other such clients.

In 2014 he decided to give a turn to his professional career and moved to New York. He started working for JumpTV, Left Right, Vox Media, Adorama, The Players Tribune and many more. Giacomo has been involved in editing music videos, documentaries, promo videos, mini-docs. Recently he worked on two Netflix series: ‘First Team: Juventus’ and ‘Dogs’. He also edited the short documentary ‘Return’, winner of the ‘Best International Short Feature’ at the London International Short Film Festival.
